Anna Kostyrina

Anna joined EFA in August 2022 to support the development of funding partnerships, which are vital to our ability to continue making progress in the delivery of participatory pedagogy and community organising.

She brings with her 15 years’ experience working across fundraising, marketing and support service delivery, and with organisations of all sizes, in the not-for-profit sector, as well as first-hand experience of migration and speaking English as an additional language.

Her interests are in the intersections of social justice, creativity, and communication and her studies on the BA Cultural Studies and Media, and LLM Human Rights programmes allowed her to explore the misrepresentation and oppression of refugees and people seeking asylum through a variety of contexts.

When not at EFA, Anna studies counselling and holistic therapy, runs a support project for charity and care sector workers, and tries to turn rubbish into treasure.
