As part of the South London Listens initiative to develop ‘Be Well’ hubs across the capital, our Greenwich hub has launched its Be Well hub at The Star of Greenwich, a new community-owned pub in the borough.
South London Listens is a collaboration between community groups including NHS trusts, Citizens UK, local authorities, schools, charities and nonprofits, and individuals keen on finding collective solutions for widespread challenges.
Be Well hubs are an initiative aimed at tackling poor mental health by providing easily accessible community spaces where people can find mental health support, community, and wellbeing resources.
EFA is proud to be collaborating with partners in Greenwich to launch our own Be Well hub, where we’ll also support students to train up as Be Well Champions and to directly support community members struggling with poor mental health.
Be Well Champions will also note and report back key themes they notice during their work in an effort to highlight common trends across our communities or spot local challenges early.
