English Language Fair – Lambeth
Do you want to improve your English? Do you want to study another course? Do you live in Lambeth?
Come and speak to local education organisations!
English for Action, along with our partners at Morley College, Lambeth Sanctuary Services, Learning Unlimited, IRMO, Refugee Education UK, Lambeth Council, High Trees, South Bank Colleges, and the Baytree Centre — with the support of the Greater London Authority — are organising an ‘English Language Fair’ for Lambeth-based adults who have English as a second language.
The event will take place on Wednesday, 6th March, from 10:30am-1:30pm, at the Stockwell Centre (1 Studley Road, London SW4 6RA).
It’s a unique opportunity to meet providers of ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and other courses (including the free London Multiply maths programme), as well as to learn about support services also offered by the organisations, all in one space.
At the event, we will also speak about the barriers that may have prevented the community from accessing education, so that we can together work to remove these barriers.
WHEN? Wednesday, 6th March, from 10:30am-1:30pm.
WHERE? the Stockwell Centre (1 Studley Road, London SW4 6RA)
