People in Action

People in Action is a student-led group that aims to identify common issues affecting #ESOL students and to better understand how they can be addressed.

They do this through YouTube interviews with specialists, including people with lived experience.

People in Action says of EFA’s training: ‘It has inspired and taught us to understand the problems of the community, it has involved and educated us on different issues while we learn the language. That is why we consider really important to continue getting involved in different issues that affect the community. This is why we have decided to form People in Action. As we are aware of these problems that currently affect us all, we are empowering ourselves and we consider it important for us to bring people with similar problems to help each other.’
