Güneş is an ESOL teacher, poet, and creative facilitator with over 15 years of experience empowering individuals through education, language, and creativity. She has delivered innovative and engaging lessons across London, specialising in teaching teenagers and adults in the Further Education sector while working extensively with marginalised and immigrant communities.
Her work bridges education and the arts, with collaborations spanning across organisations such as Apples & Snakes, LIFT, Battersea Arts Centre, and Chelsea Football Club Foundation. Notably, Güneş has led the Open House Project for Spine Festival in collaboration with A&S’s, a poetry initiative designed for asylum seekers and immigrant communities.
Currently, Güneş is training to become a Forest School leader, where she plans to harness the transformative power of nature to create inclusive spaces for learning and empowerment. With a deep commitment to fostering cultural exchange, diversity, and mutual growth, she continues to use language and creativity as tools for connection and transformation.
