Happy International Women’s Day and solidarity to women around the world! The vast majority of ESOL students are women, in our case around 85%, working hard to learn English alongside work, caring for kids and other relatives. We salute you. The cuts to ESOL are sexist cuts. They hit women the hardest, women who are trying to learn English so that they can make friends, settle in to their new lives in the UK, find work, improve their work, support their children and participate in the life of their local community. ‪#‎InternationalWomensDay‬ ‪#‎LoveESOL‬ ‪#‎SaveESOL‬
