English for Action (EFA) is seeking a skilled and committed Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees. This voluntary role is a unique opportunity for someone with solid financial experience to contribute meaningfully to a vibrant, community-focused charity supporting migrant communities across London.
As Treasurer, you will take the lead on overseeing EFA’s financial health, working closely with staff and fellow trustees to ensure strong financial management, long-term sustainability, and clear reporting. We’re looking for someone confident in budgeting, interpreting financial statements, and offering strategic financial guidance, ideally with experience in charity finance or a willingness to learn fast.
This is a key role with real influence in shaping EFA’s future. You’ll join a passionate and collaborative team, and help ensure we can continue to deliver free, participatory ESOL classes and support community organising for social justice.
