The Participatory ESOL movement is growing – and has just been given centre stage in a new publication from the British Council: ‘Language issues in migration and integration”.
EFA London’s research into integration and discussion are published here, and there is also an opening chapter which explains the participatory ESOL approach.

We hope that by sharing our methods more teachers will have the confidence to try a participatory approach with their students. As well as this book, we are organising a day of particiaptory ESOL workshops that will take place in October 2014 where teachers can learn new tools and share their expertise.
