English Language Fair – Hackney & Tower Hamlets

Come and speak to local education organisations!
English for Action, along with our partners at Hackney Adult Learning Service, New City College, ELATT, Renaisi, City & Hackney MIND, Akwaaba, Xenia, Hackney Libraries and Tower Hamlets Idea Stores — with the support of the Greater London Authority — are organising an ‘English Language Fair’ for Hackney & Tower Hamlets-based adults who have English as a second language.
The event will take place on Monday, 11th March, from 10am-1pm, at the Green House (244-254 Cambridge Heath Rd, Cambridge Heath, London E2 9DA).
It’s a unique opportunity to meet providers of ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and other courses (including the free London Multiply maths programme), as well as to learn about support services also offered by the organisations, all in one space.
At the event, we will also speak about the barriers that may have prevented the community from accessing education, so that we can together work to remove these barriers.
