Yesterday we kicked off a brand new course particularly aimed at helping Syrian refugees in west London where there is a growing Syrian community. There were 15 students and seven people from the local community who have set up a mentoring programme. The mentors all migrated to the UK many years ago and most speak Arabic and they teamed up to support the new arrivals. The group of students were so determined to learn English and get on with their lives. We (EFA) are proud to be able to help. We will also learn a lot about the world from the experience. ‪#‎refugeeswelcome‬
